A collaboration between Andy's Jazz Club and Marques Carroll, The Trumpet Summit features the most in demand and on the rise trumpeters in the city of Chicago. Showcased in the group are the three trumpets of Quentin Coaxum, Marques Carroll & Justin Copeland. The band will be celebrating the music of the greats like Freddie Hubbard, Wynton Marsalis, Lee Morgan as well as original music from each individual Summit trumpeters.
For the diverse trumpeter who has spent the last 28 years of life pursuing music with dedication and determination, Marques Carroll has turned his passion into a career and a life long journey. To say that Jazz is his only plateau would limit his overall playing ability and knowledge of music.
