New Zealand born saxophonist Hayden Chisholm is one of finest jazz musicians to have emerged in this country. A native of Taranaki, Hayden has lived in Germany since the early 1990s where he has established himself as an instrumentalist and composer at the forefront of jazz in Europe. In 2018 he returns to New Zealand to undertake a national tour playing in jazz settings with Paul Dyne on bass and Norman Meehan on piano. The tour promotes their new album 'Unwind' (Rattle Records), an album that features the trio’s original music.
