Born in Lorient, France, from a Martinican father and a Grenadian mother, Viktor Lazlo’s passion for music and writing began quite early. Violin and ballet lessons completed her training as a stage performer until the age of seventeen. She graduated from the European high school with a large knowledge of foreign languages, then started history of art and archaeology studies at Brussels University. Discovered by Belgium producer Lou Deprijk, she initiated her singing career with the recording of original soundtrack for Jean Pierre Mocky’s “A mort L’arbitre” in 1984. Over fifteen albums and compilations followed, sold in more than thirty countries, several duets (with Florent Pagny, Arno, Biagio Antonacci, Maggie Riley…), five gold records, international tours (Germany, Austria, Taiwan, Japan, Canada, Turkey…), over twentyfive movies, including Italian, German and Spanish productions.
