Vincent Gagnon is one of the most sought-after pianists on the Quebec jazz scene. Described by CBC’s Stanley Péan as “…. the revelation of the Festival de Jazz de Québec 2009 ”, Gagnon has been quite active for the last 10 years. Known for his artful playing, he has performed hundreds of concerts with well-known local and international artists, including Géraldine Laurent, Dave Liebman, Michel Donato, Frank Lacy, Rich Perry, Normand Guilbeault, André Larue, Michel Côté, Pierre Tanguay, Michel Lambert and Jean Derome. He has also collaborated with singers/songwriters, poets and well-known actors, such as Keith Kouna, Raôul Duguay, Yann Perreau, Isabelle Blais, Patrice Desbiens, Claude Péloquin, Paule-Andrée Cassidy, Annie Poulain and Jacques Leblanc. The records on which he worked as an accompanist/arranger/musical director were nominated or awarded at l’ADISQ, le GAMIQ, Canadian Folk Awards, etc. He was a finalist at l’ADISQ 2014 for the «Arranger of the Year» prize.
