Musician and composer Zaza Korinteli, better known by his stage name Zumba (born December 29, 1973). His music combining a variety of rhythmic styles of World Music , Jazz, Fusion, folk-rock and instrumental Improvisations. Being a multi-instrumentalist on guitar, bass, wind instruments, percussions, and vocals, he leads the band ZumbaLand and also collaborates within several other musical projects. His stage name is an acronym of a Georgian phrase zogjer ubralod moindome, bolos agisruldeba (ზოგჯერ უბრალოდ მოინდომე ბოლოს აგისრულდება), translated as "Just wish sometimes – it will eventually come true." ZaZa Korinteli (Zumba) formed his band “ZumbaLand” in 1993. In 1994 the band went on a Mediterranean tour. In 1996 the group became the winner of two very important Festivals taking place in Tbilisi : “Hands” and “Margarita”. in 1997 Zaza Korinteli relocated to Krakow, Poland and assembled a new Georgian-Polish-Ukrainian-American group. he was performed at festivals and ceremonies all over Poland.
