"Colored Man Singin' the Blues" is about how people of color, faced with adverse and unjust conditions, have been continuously and/or deliberately ignored by many who turn a blind eye. It is clear and purposeful neglect, the likes of which colored people have been treated with consistently throughout the past and up until today. The basis of this song stem from my own dismayed emotions and experiences of being a black man. This song speaks to all people of color." - Adam Falcon
