Anthony Braxton's "Opus 23B" blew my mind the first time I heard it- and I hope it blows yours, as well. This composition from 1975 was inspired by Charlie Parker's "Donna Lee"- but don't look too hard for literal references to that incredible melody!
LIDDLE has a new album coming out on Outside in Music in early 2019, followed by tour dates around the U.S. in April/May. Subscribe to my YouTube channel to stay up-to-date.
Brian Krock- alto saxophone
Olli Hirvonen- guitar
Marty Kenney- bass
