The Chris Byars Jazz Quartet has returned to Kuwait, sponsored by the U.S. Embassy and in coordination with the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters to participate in Kuwait's 19th Annual al-Qurain Cultural Festival. The Chris Byars Jazz Quartet incorporated three traditional Kuwaiti songs into their set of classic jazz standards that had the crowd stopping their feet and singing along. The CBJQ also performed at local schools and on several youth-oriented TV programs.
