Home Feeling è il mio settimo album da leader. Una pila di suoni.
Instancabilmente continuo ad essere alla ricerca di un linguaggio che rappresenti il mio stato d'animo. In questo ultimo anno ho avuto attorno a me un clima positivo e ho cercato di rappresentarlo con una musica che potesse trasmettere serenità. Di qui l'idea della fusione fra il jazz delle armonie colte ed una rielaborazione del linguaggio afro-cubano tradizionale.
Intorno a me, qui c'è un gruppo di musicisti straordinari, che si sono messi al servizio della mia musica con grande partecipazione.
Negli ultimi anni ho viaggiato parecchio, e quando si passa tanto tempo in viaggio, in qualche modo la tua casa te la devi portare dentro. "Casa non è un luogo, ma una sensazione" recita un proverbio. Questa musica, che ho composto durante i molti spostamenti, è attraversata da suggestioni, luoghi, viaggi, persone, panorami, vissuti e filtrati dalla consapevolezza di avere sì un luogo da dove partire, ma soprattutto di avere un luogo dove ritornare ..."Home Feeling”.

Home Feeling is my seventh album.
A stack of sounds. I keep on looking for a distinct musical language that represents my inner soul. This year I have been lucky enough to enjoy a positive climate around me, and I try to portray this profound sense of happiness and serenity through my music by merging sophisticated jazz harmonies with traditional Afro-Cuban sounds.
For this special recording, I gathered together a group of wonderful musicians, who lent themselves to my music with their great enthusiasm.
I’ve been travelling a lot over the last few years, spending long periods away from home, which makes you feel the need to take your “home” with you. There is a proverb that says, “Home is not a place, but a feeling.” Well ... this music is made up of such feelings, places, stories, people, encounters, and all the small things that I have experienced during my unforgettable journeys, colored by the constant awareness of not only having a place to go, but above all, having a place to go back to ... Home Feeling.
