"The future of the industry is people like Nostalgia 77" -- JAMIE CULLUM (BBC RADIO 2)
Video and light artist Roderick Wilson interprets Nostalgia 77's "An Angel With No Halo" and its themes of disassociation and estrangement. Drawing from a vast collection of found slides from car boot sales and junk shops, blended with his own homemade filters and oil wheels, he creates an uncomfortable schism in the familiar images of our everyday life. Somewhere between art installation and music video, Roderick Wilsons's visual accompaniment is an intriguing, comedic and disturbing journey in exploration of this unique and arresting song.
