Over the years Ron has made many musical journeys: from the wonders and mysteries of Japan and China, to the infectious joy and tender melancholy of the Celtic Isles, even a song quest in tribute to First Nations and Indigenous peoples. For his new album World Café, Ron takes you on a journey to the Latin world: sunny Spain, the island of Cuba, and the verdant lands of Central and South America.
Each of these songs captures a moment, a feeling, a memory. Close your eyes, and as the harmonies unfold, and the rhythms begin to pulse, Ron’s flute will yourself transport to his World Café, a meeting place where people from many cultures meet and celebrate life together through music!
