I cannot tell you how excited I am to release this album. It has literally been six years since I released new music under my own name! And the funny thing about this track is that it is literally the first track we recorded of the entire recording session. Song 1, Take 1 — everything about it is just energy right from the word “Go!” Ulysses Owens Jr. on the drums really brought the fire on this and it set an awesome tone for the entire recording process over the next two days. I hope you’ll enjoy getting the ball rolling as much as I have with this single, the title track of the record, Kinetic.
