I have been drawn to Mt. Tamalpais my entire life growing up in the bay and traveling to the north bay to visit my tummy mom. I always saw a woman laying on her side and that held symbolic emotional significance to me. Little did I know that there was a secret hidden about the truth of why it looked the way it did. When I saw this video ( https://vimeo.com/84477950 ) I realized my Native American roots to this magnificent mountain were even stronger than I could have imagined. What this mountain has meant to countless generations of people before us and what happened there was an even stronger symbol of what we as a country has done and continue to do not only to our land but also to its people. History can teach us the truth and open our eyes to make positive changes.

We must make our government work for us and not for special interests or profits. Lets work hard to see through the petty little differences that has been sold to us to try to divide us and look at the source of those selling us these stories.
