"Roots" is a collection of Tomoko's arrangements of Japanese folk/popular songs. The songs are from folk songs which has been played or sung for many years in Japan to TV songs that are popular among many generations in Japan.
Japanese native, Tomoko moved to Brooklyn, NY in 2010. This has recorded in New York City and the band members are all residents of Brooklyn, NY.
