Recorded at Atlantic Recording Studios, New York, N.Y. on November 30 & December 1, 1966 (A1-C1,D1), November 1968 (C2,D2)
Disc 1 of double-vinyl set originally is Chick Corea's debut album "Tones For Joan's Bones" (1968,Vortex). C1 and D1 are outtakes from "Tones For Joan's Bones" sessions. C2 and D2 come from a Hubert Laws date of the period that feature Corea's piano and writing (D2 is released on Laws' album "Laws' Cause" (Atlantic SD 1509)
The CD reissue of Inner Space, however, omits the second and the third track of "Tones For Joan's Bones" due to time limitations.
