Duke Ellington And His Orchestra did a series of five recording sessions in New York for Musicraft late in 1946. These tracks were all released as 78rpm singles on the Musicraft label and later compiled in more or less complete form on various labels, under various titles and with variable track listings. The true order of the sessions is:
