Line-up/Musicians
"The Guitar" is a recording of original music interpreted by five of my favorite guitarists. I've always loved the guitar and was interested in writing some music for a quartet with guitar as the principal voice.
The five featured guitarists are Barry Coates, Larry Koonse, Riner Scivally, Gary Solt, and Paul Viapiano. The quartets are rounded out by pianists Tom Ranier, Rich Eames, and Rich Ruttenberg. The bassists are Trey Henry and Domenic Genova. Drums, Jerry Kalaf.
