This double CD reissues their only known well-recorded concerts, originally released in 1992/3 on hat ART 6071/2. In addition, there are six previously unissued performances from the Bremen concert, three trios and three piano/bass duets. Also included are the two tracks from their FUSION album which were not included in the ECM double-album reissue.
Tracks 1-1 to 2-4 recorded at the Sendesaal in Bremen, Germany, on November 23rd, 1961, by Radio Bremen.
Tracks 2-5 to 2-12 recorded at the Mozartsaal Liederhalle in Stuttgart, Germany, on November 7th, 1961, by Suddeutscher Rundfunk, Stuttgart.
Tracks 2-13, 2-14 recorded in New York City, New York on May 3rd, 1961, by Dick Olmstead.
