his release contains all of Jimmy Rowles' 1977 trio tracks, consisting of a set paying homage to Miles Davis' Birth of the Cool nonet and appearing on CD for the first time ever. In addition we have included Jimmy Rowles' complete first 1978 trio session, and as a bonus, a rare solo track from the period and a beautiful quartet verion of Round Midnight
