David Duffy (born 25 April 1984) is an Irish musician, composer, and record producer based between Barcelona and Cork, Ireland. As a composer, he is known for combining classical and electronic music and for his integration of audiovisual elements into his work. With over a decades experience in the digital arts space, Most notably he has composed predominantly with his company Eat My Noise, and since 2017 has been releasing music as a solo artist under his own name.
As well as his composition work, Duffy is a former member of The Hard Ground, The Niall McCabe Band, Jack O Rourke and guested on many other recordings and live performances as a session musician.
Duffy began studying Double Bass at the age of 14. Performing in local groups, ensembles, and orchestras. In 2002 he was accepted to study music at University College Cork, receiving education from notable lectures such as Mel Mercier.
