This compilation not sound good for me due to this fact: A few months ago (last year) trying to get me to a culture in the country, a genre that already a few years ago I got to listen. Interesting was a program of country music that was transmitted by one of two radio station that were sent back from the U.S. base at Aviano (Pordenone, Italy). The fact is that the Country music that played on that show was very similar (for guitar sound and vocal style) to the music on this CD.

Now you will sound strange... But this Ray Charles sounds in my ears very fusion. A fusion of R'n'B and Country slow ballads. Of course I knew as Ray Charles had evolved and what to expect but I was disappointed in this compilation: this is the Ray Charles as a lover of Ssoul, R'n'B or jazz should have in his discography?
