snobb
Almost forgotten but ambitious at the time of release Hancock's take on r'n'b / funky fashion of the day.Released on the disco wave, this album's music could be mistakenly recognized as disco from first listening, but diggin' deeper this album contains mix of Hancock's mid 70s funk traces mixed with fashionable r'n'b vocals and lot of synth technics /technologies demonstration.

Almost every song is recorded with different line-up participating some "star" musicians of that time. And if vocalists Sylvester and Gavin Christopher are on the front line, there are all the list of really strong jazz, fusion and rock musicians on the support (including Michael Brecker, guitarists Adrian Belew and Wah Wah Watson, percussionist Paulinho Da Costa among others).

In all album is good evidence of early 80s music fashion, and only professional musicianship and some enthusiastic funk/ r'n'b grooves saved it from being the full disaster.
