Cannot help saying what was happening upon NEW TROLLS (A. T.) after finishing this album, as well. Their beautiful symphonic touches (a refrain of Concerto Grosso, as you know) can be heard only in the beginning of the second track "Trediciottavi" but basically this live album consists of complete jazz rock, not symphonic like the previous eponymous work. Amazingly, not only bewildering but also complete stuffs, we can feel obviously. Aggressive horn sounds and steady synthesizer turfs with spacey noises should make us (and the audience upon the gig / recording) cheer up. In the whole track "Settequarti" we cannot breathe at all but only get absorbed in such a massive attack based upon loud, roughly powerful playing. Superb endings on both tracks / sides let us put too much feeling into them. Regardless of their premier history, we can never ignore this terrific jazz rock album. Let me say it's not too much to think they could get to be a splendid jazz rock-based live combo hooray.
