A one album band which had obvious Cantebury influences with Caravan at its folkiest moments being the closest to Circus. The difference is that the latter doesn't explore the sonic soundscapes of psychedelia as much as Caravan used to in its earlier years, there are no keyboards and the sound is focused more on "light" sounding pop-jazz folk with an exception of the 1st track which is a daring jazzy Beatles cover and the upbeat jazz track of 6, but mostly brass and a "humble" guitar are the doing the talking when it comes down to melodies and overall musical direction, giving a warm, mellow colouring to the compositions. An ideal way to rest from a rainy day, if you don't mind the"heavier" parts of Norwegian Wood and II B.S., which are excellent tracks, but bit of an anomalies amongst the general soundscape on this great prog-folk album - 4/5.
