I dare you not to tap your feet while listening to this album.

"The Return of the Space Cowboy" is a tremendous album by British acid-jazz/funk group Jamiroquai, led by singer Jay Kay. It's full of jamming, it's hallucinogenic, and has less faux-environmental political lyrics than the band's debut, yet it still managed to raise the 'quai's fanbase around the world.

So, here's my description of the music presented here: a mix of funk, jazz and rock featuring a hyperactive rhythm section (featuring thunderman extraordinaire Stuart Zender on bass), Fender Rhodes, nice brass lines, flute and the vocal talents of Jay Kay, who sounds somewhat too much like Stevie Wonder. Recommended to fans of jazz-funk and acid-jazz.

Highlights: Just Another Story, Stillness in Time, The Kids, Scam, Space Cowboy.
